PWN Amsterdam: 2020 Kick-off Event

Join us for our 2020 kick-off event with guest presenter Kay Formanek. Kay is  committed to embedding diversity of talent into companies to unleash more creativity, more innovation, more growth, more engagement and better financial outcomes.

She is a much sought after speaker and researcher on diversity and this evening she will talk about Inclusive Diversity and Unconscious Bias. Specifically Kay will present the research that she has done on the changing themes of diversity over the last 50 years and why there is such renewed interest in the topic of implicit bias.

Kay will talk about the incredibly exciting field of the neuroscience of implicit bias and how it has revealed the extent to which our hard-wiring, implicit biased and stereotypes negatively impact our desire for inclusive diversity. She will share with the audience the experience that she has  garnered over the last 35 years, on what leaders and organisations are able to do to mitigate the ravages of implicit bias. The presentation will be research and experience rich. This means that it will not be a one way monologue and will also reach into the audience for them to experience their bias and identify some key talent blind spots.

Registration Details: This event is open to members and non-members (guests). Men are warmly welcomed to join our events as guests or now as a member. Registration is required for all attendees. Members and guests, please see the side bar for this event's fees. Guest fees are non-refundable. There is a limited number of seats, so please register early!

After attending an event as a guest, should you decide to join our network within one week of the event, then the guest fee of 25,- euro is deducted from the annual membership fee.
